"O Lord, who art the strength of those who labor for Your glory, sustain our fragile hearts in the stillness of Your presence. Grant that we may not grow weary in our pursuit of virtue, but remain steadfast until the day of Your appearing. Conform our wills to Yours, that our deeds may bear witness to the hope that dwells within us, through the grace of Your Holy Spirit."

St. Athanasius reminds us that our earthly struggles are but a preparation for the incorruptible life which Christ has secured for us. To be immovable is to fix our gaze upon the eternal, refusing to be shaken by the fleeting shadows of this world. Let our work be the constant labor of humility and prayer, for in the silence of the heart, God perfects the ascetic struggle.
